ART: Self Portraits
Self Portraits Most of these were based off of photographs taken by the student themselves and drawn using a grid. They could use any medium to finish it out. Scale was from 8.5 x 11 up to 18 x 24. We could've improved these by paying more attention to how light the grid should've been, as well as removing grid lines BEFORE shading and blending. I feel like these got rushed at the end. For the most part the values could have been pushed a little darker in my opinion. However, the resemblance to the people who did them is quite clear on these portraits.
